Making a difference
Participation at the G20 YEA Summit
Nina Lantinga, President of Nets for Net Zero, has been a prominent representative of future entrepreneurship at the G20 Summit for Young Entrepreneurs over the past three years.
During this time, Nina has led the Canadian Policy Taskforce on Climate Action, Sustainability, and Energy. Working alongside other young entrepreneurs, they have focused on delivering policy recommendations to G20 leaders, amplifying the voices of entrepreneurs from G20 nations.
The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (G20 YEA) is an annual meeting that takes place just before the Leaders' Summit. Every year, it unites over 500 exceptional young entrepreneurs from across G20 countries, with the goal of promoting and propelling youth entrepreneurship as a driving force for economic development, innovation, and social change.
Every year, it becomes increasingly apparent that bridging the divides among policy, entrepreneurship, innovation, and climate action is imperative. To actively contribute to tackling the most pressing issues of our time it is crucial to rethink our systems ensuring cooperation, innovation and diversity of perspectives throughout the process.
