Process Innovation
Our team of dedicated researchers from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal has a distinctive expertise in Research and Development for plastic recycling. Through cutting-edge chemical and mechanical engineering, we navigate the complexities of plastic recycling to unearth groundbreaking methodologies and processes.
We have been able to develop processes for ALDFG that currently cannot be recycled worldwide.
We take the world's most challenging materials to recycle and innovate processes to transform this waste to be resold on the market for renewable product applications. These processes have laid the foundation for our goal
to recycle 5 000 tonnes of ALDFG in 2024.
Traceability & Life Cycle Analysis
Our team of experts excels in designing and implementing circular economy solutions and to accomplish this, we are partnering with the CIRAIG, a center dedicated to life cycle assessment and sustainable transition.
Through the development of a digital track and trace system and conducting a lifecycle analysis, we will have an automated system to measure impact from waste collection at the ports, to high quality recycled plastic pellets ready to be used into new products.
We want to create a traceable impact from port to pellet.
By identifying opportunities for waste reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainable product design, we can create a lasting impact that is traceable and verifiable as we work to combat greenwashing and increase transparency.
Policy & Advocacy
Raising the voices of impacted communities, highlighting solutions to address climate action and Canada's circularity gap, and supporting entrepreneurs both locally and globally is at our core.
Dialogue and coordinated efforts with local and global government bodies, accelerating innovative solutions that are addressing the world's most pressing problems, and collaborating with global communities is essential to accelerating high impact solutions.
Our policy and advocacy efforts are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the global biodiversity framework, and G20 policy.
Building Partnerships to Achieve our Goals
Once we've identified gaps in the circular system, we develop partnerships and innovate to achieve our ambitious goals.
This involves community partners, associations, industry, and all levels of government, from local to global.
Together, we can address climate change, protect life underwater, build innovative and sustainable communities that benefit small businesses, entrepreneurs, and large corporations alike.
